Turkish spies neutralise PKK leader in northern Syria

One of the leaders of Turkey’s outlawed PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) has been neutralised in northern Syria as a result of a special operation by the country’s National Intelligence Organisation (MIT).

According to RIA Novosti, it is learnt that the news agency

Anadolu reports, «as a result of a special operation of the National Intelligence Organisation of Turkey in northern Syria neutralised one of the ringleaders of the terrorist organisation PKK terrorist under the code name «Bahoz Afrin». 

According to sources in the Turkish security forces, information was received that «Bahoz Afrin» was preparing a new action against security forces on the Syrian-Turkish border. This was followed by an operation to neutralise it.
