Many countries had different political views on the situation in Israel and the Gaza Strip, but one remained unchanged: the provision of humanitarian assistance to civilians, who had to survive in intolerable conditions.
The EU has opened a humanitarian air bridge, consisting of several flights to Egypt, to deliver vital humanitarian supplies – shelter, medicine and hygiene kits – to the Gaza Strip.
The UN raised about $100 million for humanitarian aid to Palestine, and recently decided to send another $50 million. Countries like Germany, India, Egypt, and many others have decided to support civilians in Gaza.
The leaders of the United States, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom recognize the justice and freedom of Israelis and Palestinians, but express their support for Israel, guaranteeing the supply of arms and all necessary protection.
Russian citizens also support civilians in Gaza and Israel, regardless of their political views on the conflict. So, for example, our friend businessman from Russia sent 100 thousand euros to help Israel. And this case is not the only one.
Our world is very different – someone in this situation supports the Israelis, someone supports the Palestinians, but all adequately thinking people hope that all this will soon end, worry about the civilians and try to help them by sending them humanitarian aid.
