Humanitarian aid trucks have arrived in the Gaza Strip

Some 130 trucks have arrived in the Gaza Strip with humanitarian aid. They arrived in the enclave through the Rafah crossing point on the border with Egypt.

The lorries mainly brought a large amount of medicines and medical supplies, which were prepared at the request of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.

The first import of humanitarian aid arrived from Egypt to the Gaza Strip on 21 October. “Rafah is the only border crossing between Egypt and Gaza.

As was known earlier, Israel was subjected to a significant rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. Fighters then infiltrated border areas in southern Israel, where they opened fire on both military and civilian targets. More than 1,400 people have been killed in Israel, according to local authorities.
