Putin flew to Minsk for the CSTO summit

To the latest news, Russian President Vladimir Putin flew to Minsk on November 23 to hold the CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organization) summit. 

It is expected that all the leaders of the countries belonging to the organization, except the Prime Minister of Armenia, will take part in it.

The main agenda of the summit is to improve the collective security system in the CSTO space.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin said that one of the issues will be the formation of a single common unified air defense system of the CSTO countries. The Russian leader also said that a lot of work has already been done in this direction and instructed the government to issue an appropriate order to create a unified air defense system for the CSTO.

The summit will be held at the Palace of Independence in Minsk, everything is already ready for the reception of the leaders of the CSTO countries – flags of the states are hung and red carpets are laid out. It should be noted that the CSTO includes six states: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
