On the verge of success
Lady Gaga, Adam Driver, Jared Leto, and Salma Hayek – all fingers of your hand aren’t enough to count all of the celebrities who took part in the motion picture.Perhaps, it is thanks to such a cast that the movie “House of Gucci” became extremely popular. Or maybe it’s because director Ridley Scott decided to shed light on the family drama of the design house, shrouded in mystery and a bloody trail.

Italian passions
Such an expression as «hot Italian blood» was probably coined by close friends of the Gucci family, where passions boiled.. Both of them spent their millions with the pinch of luxury and extravagance. The center of the film’s plot was the division of the fashion house’s shares between its heirs, Maurizio and Paolo Gucci. Both heirs spent their millions lavishly and profligately. Maurizio was helped in this by his wife Patricia who was the apple of discord: taking the Gucci family name, she didn’t fail to take the reins of the fashion empire into her own hands.
Bitter gelato
The lady of luxury and power, Patricia, played by Lady Gaga, is forced by the plot of the film to her husband Maurizio to buy back a block of shares of Gucci from his cousin and to put his uncle out of business. The married couple managed to do this by putting the last one under the control of the Tax Inspectorate and thus putting him behind bars. Maurizio did not stop there – at the end of the film he cold-bloodedly forces his uncle to sell 40% of his Gucci shares.
Stylish murder
According to Ridley Scott, Patricia was at the head of the fashion empire all this time. Unable to share power with Maurizio, she was sidelined. And one day, after 12 years of marriage, Maurizio flew away on a business trip to Florence, from where he has never returned. Having found out that her husband has been spending time in Italy with a certain Paola Franchini, Patricia has never forgiven him. Six years later, the couple divorced, and three years later Maurizio was killed on his way to his office.
