Pushkin Museum and the Middle East: events in October

Some events often take place at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts: lectures, exhibitions and excursions are held. And the Middle East is an ancient region overflowing with cultural values, it was on the territory of Mesopotamia (present-day Iraq) that the first civilization, the Sumerian, arose. This October, the Pushkin Museum will host several lectures on the Middle East, in particular, Ancient Egypt.

 ⁃ October 13, 19:00, also CEV “Museion”. A lecture dedicated to the art of Ancient Egypt. 

 ⁃ October 18, CEV “Museion”. “Ancient Egypt of the Pyramid era”

 ⁃ October 22, CEV “Museion”. “Myths of Ancient Egypt about the creation of the world”

 ⁃ October 25, CEV “Museion”.  “The Egyptian Empire: the Art of Egypt during the New Kingdom Period”

Tickets for all events can be purchased both in person and on the museum’s website. The Middle East deserves to have its culture and history known!
