Reception at the German Embassy

Russia

On May 23, the German Embassy in Moscow hosted a large event dedicated to the German Constitution and its residents.  All reports were in German, without translation into Russian.  The speakers talked about the German Constitution, about famous and important people in the history of this country, as well as freedom and dignity.

At the meeting there was an ambassador from Germany, German journalists, teachers from Moscow State University who gave lectures about German culture and its characteristics, students from schools with a deepening of the German language, and even from Germany itself.

The reports lasted about 2 hours, after which everyone stayed for a buffet, where everyone continued to discuss human dignity and the most important points in the German constitution.

“The event was amazing. I was surprised that there were schoolchildren who were interested in German culture and, for their age, had good knowledge of this language,” said Pastor Fridtjof Amling after the conference.
