Louis Vuitton plans to open its first hotel in France. For this purpose, the brand has given up its headquarters, which overlooks the main attractions of Paris.

The company’s corporate offices will be transformed into a hotel and retail complex, including the world’s first Louis Vuitton hotel and the brand’s largest boutique“, – said chairman and chief executive Michael Burke.

Work on the project began with the launch of an installation called “LV Dream”. The pop-up of around two thousand square metres has added: an exhibition dedicated to the best collaborations between the house’s artists, a café and a chocolate shop from the pastry chef Cheval Blanc Paris, as well as a souvenir shop.

The exhibition will be on view for a year and then will probably be transformed into the fashion house’s largest boutique. In the next five years, a 37,000-square-metre hotel will be built in the same building.

Now LVMH headquarters is not only working on its project, but also on improving the environment of the area where the hotel will be located. Bernard Arnault, chairman and majority owner of LVMH, has set to work, planning to attract more offices, shops, accommodation, restaurants and cultural events to the area.
