All this is about Cuba, a tropical republic, that has attracted the attention of many tourists for many years.

Cuba is an island in Latin America, which is washed by the Atlantic Ocean in the northeast, the Caribbean Sea in the south, and the Gulf of Mexico in the northwest.
Cuba is 210 km from Mexico, 77 km from Haiti, 140 km from Jamaica and 180 km from Florida.

The climate in Cuba is conducive to a comfortable life. In summer, the temperature can be up to 30° degrees, and in winter — about 18°. The rainy season lasts from May to October, and the dry tropical season from November to April. At first, it will be difficult to breathe in Cuba because of the humidity (70-75%).
The water temperature in winter is about 24 degrees, in summer it warms up to 28 degrees.

The official language is Spanish, but many Cubans speak English well. Some people, who may surprise tourists, know some words and songs in Russian. The fact is that relations between Cuba and Russia are more than good. Many residents of the island are familiar with Russian culture and have visited Russia.
In most cases, the service staff speaks Italian, German, and English.

The currency is the Cuban peso (100 centavos).
In some areas, where the largest concentration of tourists, it’s possible to pay in pounds, euros and Canadian dollars. Tourists can exchange currency at the exchange offices of banks and almost all hotels.

The time is 8 hours behind Moscow time, which can also cause inconvenience upon arrival in Cuba.

The residents of the Republic are very friendly and cheerful. Cubans behave openly, they like to have fun until the morning, but after parties, instead of bottles of alcohol, you will see bags of peanuts. This is surprising, but it’s a fact. Why the inhabitants of the island were so captivated by peanuts remains a mystery.

Cubans are real patriots, they love their country. Family and friendship are very important for them. Families here are usually large and friendly. The older helps the younger and vice versa. Various types of leisure activities are common: skateboarding, American football, athletics.

The whole of Cuba is one big attraction, but you can highlight the places that every visitor must visit.
