A predicted COVID-19 outbreak will occur in June. To avoid a new wave, it is necessary to be vaccinated, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko has warned.

The minister believes that it is necessary to engage in prevention now, rather than wait for a wave of infections. 

Earlier, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova warned that the pandemic has not yet ended, despite the fact that the rate of COVID-19 infection in Russia has decreased.
