25 of January the President Vladimir Putin has declared that the Covid situation in Russia is getting better, which is the reason of gradual lifting the restrictions. 

Comparing to the fall’s situation, when the daily average of positive Coronavirus’ results tests was about 30,000, now the average of sick people is getting lower. The percentage of people who might buy tickets and visit cinemas and theaters has increased from 25 to 50. Night clubs in Moscow now can work ‘til mornings. Nevertheless, considerable decrease of Corona disease does not allow canceling social distancing and wearing face masks. 

Museums, exhibitions and other cultural events have come back to normal schedule on the 22 of January. 

Furthermore, Universities and Colleges are coming back to full-time offline schedules already in February observing social distancing. 

However, the Ministry of Health recommends you to stay at home as long as it is possible. 

Vaccine – Yes or No? 

The procedure of vaccination has started for taxi drivers and couriers, and also for all volunteers who is older than 60 years old, University students and those who have chronic diseases – the vaccination is absolutely free. 

Members of service industry will get the “Sputnik V” vaccination primarily, because exactly these people have often contacts with population. The inoculation takes 30 minutes. Moreover, staff can get a vaccine right at work. 

For a several months all of the citizens over 18 years old who have already struggled with Covid-19 could have become blood plasma donors from which vaccine is made. Copulas are injected into human’s bodies develop immunity.

After giving a plasma patients are not recommended to eat junk, spicy, salty and smoked food for 24 hours, for 3 days do not take medicine containing aspirin and do not drink alcohol for 48 hours. 

Opinions about vaccination are absolutely different. Half of Russians fell strongly against Covid-19 vaccine, while another half feel absolutely positively about it.  

Like an any vaccine against virus, “Sputnik V” also has their side effects, but today in Russia there is no negative effect was identified.  

How do Volunteers Help with Organizing Vaccination 

18 of January mass vaccination of “Sputnik V” has started for Muscovites and of course such event cannot go safe and fast without help of volunteers. 

Volunteer’s main task is navigation from entrance zone to medical office.

Take part in such kind of event can anyone from 16 to 60 years old without any symptoms of coronavirus disease. 

In order to keep social distance, volunteer’s duty divided into shifts: in the morning and in the evening. Also there is food and rest zones.

How to Help during Pandemic? 

A lot of caring Russians asking themselves “How can I help people in need?”, but don’t know how to do it. 

If you have a possibility and most importantly – pleasure, you can help people, buying food and medicaments for those who are in a risk zone and can’t go out to grocery store, in other words – you can become a volunteer in household issues in one of the local helper clubs. 

For instance, from 29 of September organization “volunteers-medics” have completed more than 4700 requests and have answered on more than 150.000 hotline calls.
