On June 24, the governor of the Moscow Region signed a decree on new restrictions in the region, which affected the number of allowed spectators of mass events. From June 28, this restriction will not apply to viewers who have been vaccinated or have had COVID-19 in the last six months.

The music festival «Zhara», which was supposed to be held on June 24, since the resolution was signed by the governor of the region Andrey Vorobyov. The organizers of the festival offered to exchange tickets for other events planned for 2022 — the «Heat Music Awards» and «Heat», which should be in Baku.

The Grushinsky Song Festival has been held regularly since 1968 near Samara. The festival is named after Valery Grushin, a student who died saving drowning children. The festival was canceled due to the coronavirus. A message about this appeared on the festival’s page in VKontakte.

“Dear friends, Grushinsky 2021 has been canceled! Due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation, the government of the Samara Region has decided not to hold the Grushinsky Festival in 2021,” — the message said.

The decision to postpone the «Invasion» to 2022 was made on June 11, during a meeting of the festival organizers with the government of the Moscow region. Rospotrebnadzor believes that it is impossible to hold the festival in the current situation with the incidence of COVID-19. This is reported by the official website of the rock festival of Russia, which was to be held from July 30 to August 1, 2021.

The organizers of the Moscow Park Live festival announced the postponement of the event to 2022 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Last year, the festival was also postponed, because regular flights are not established, artists cannot get Russian visas, and it is impossible to leave some countries without a good reason.

“We have made every effort to hold Park Live this year. But, unfortunately, as in 2020, international tours face obstacles, under which it is simply impossible to hold a festival of the declared level. In this regard, we are forced to postpone the festival to 2022”, — the organizers of the festival said.

Exactly at midnight on June 18, 12 hours before the start of the «Wild Mint» festival, the invited artists and guests received an order from the governor of the Tula region to ban its holding. The stages, food courts, additional activities were ready, the musicians were already on their way to perform at the venue from different cities and countries, but everything collapsed overnight.

More than half a thousand musicians were supposed to fly to Yekaterinburg from other cities, not counting tourists who wanted to become spectators of the Ural Music Night festival.

“Unfortunately, we have to inform you that the date of the Ural Music Night festival was postponed indefinitely by the decision of the Governor and Chairman of the Organizing Committee E. V. Kuyvashev,”—  the festival’s website says,— “We are doing everything possible to make the festival take place in 2021. We know that Music Night is the best night of the year”.

The head of Rospotrebnadzor said that the situation with the spread of coronavirus in Russia remains very tense and incessant. According to her, the increase in the incidence is mainly due to Moscow, the Moscow region and St. Petersburg.
