“They fell for the president’s bait”: Trump will be charged for the destruction of the Capitol.

President Donald Trump is accused of inciting unrest in the Capitol during a congressional meeting. Ban in social networks, accusations of the riot in the Capitol and re-impeachment: what else would eliminate the former president of America?

Let’s go back to the origins of events and see how it all started.

On November 3, 2020, Democrat Joe Biden won the presidential race, beating the President of the United States of America — Donald Trump. Republicans led by Trump have repeatedly tried to cancel or re-hold the election due to clear voting irregularities and rigged votes by Biden. 3 months later, on January 6, the US Congress was supposed to meet in the Capitol to count the votes of the Electoral College, but Trump, dissatisfied with the election results, announced rallies in which he expressed his disagreement, protesting about unfair elections and not recognizing the results. Earlier, on December 18, 2020, Donald Trump said that on January 6, he planned to hold a rally in Washington and called on the protesters to “be hot”.

On the morning of January 6, a crowd of protesters gathered at the Washington Monument, where Donald Trump and his lawyer Rudy Giuliani called for a march on the Capitol, where Congress gathered today. Trump asked his followers to march to the Capitol and “make your voices heard.” For this, the rally was called the “Save America” march. Then several hundred thousand protesters broke through the barricade of the Capitol —the situation got out of control. As a result of the violence, 14 police officers were injured and 50 people were arrested.

In the afternoon, President Donald Trump tweeted a message to the protesters asking for order and an end to the violence.

“We love and appreciate you. I know how you feel, but please go home, ” — the video message read.

Soon the message was blocked by Twitter, the reason for this was statements about calls that could lead to the re-capture of the Capitol by the protesters. On January 13, 2021, representatives of the US Congress impeached President Trump over calls for riots and rallies. The Senate considered the case retroactively — on January 20, the inauguration of Joe Biden, the 46th president of the United States, was held. The Democratic Party, led by Biden, wants to carry out a second impeachment of Trump, despite the fact, that he no longer holds the post of president. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and even TikTok have previously banned Trump from social networks. By doing this, they showed that the former president can cause violence and new protests, so they do not want to see him on these platforms.

What makes the new government of America desperate to pursue the already departed President Donald Trump?

Trump is already crushed, not just as a political leader and statesman, but as a businessman and financier. Apparently, Biden trues to block Trump’s path to the election in 2024 by any means. Actually, the goal of the government is the same — to categorically undermine the authority and destroy the career of a Republican. The easiest and quickest way is to declare him the only one to blame for the Capitol takeover — to say that Trump incited, encouraged and directed the protesters to go on the Capitol, violence and mass riots. For this, he will answer to the fullest extent, and the ban by all known social networks is only the beginning of his worldwide shame.

It is obvious that Joe Biden fears for his post of president and reputation. Protests, unrest and riots can negatively affect the president’s career, so Joe Biden will try his best to get rid of the threat from Trump and the Republicans. The case of re-impeachment or “storming the Capitol” will be considered in the Senate on February 9. During his speech, Trump usually mentioned that the election was rigged, claimed that he surpassed his rival in votes, and Joseph Biden simply stole his victory. Republicans went out to protest and expressed their dissatisfaction at first peacefully, and things came to the defeat of the Capitol and riots in the United States.

“If you do not continue to fight, you will be left without a country,” — Donald Trump said.

Whether Trump is guilty of the Capitol destruction  and its consequences or not will have to be decided by the Senate, now made up of Republicans. We can only wait for the Senate’s decision and follow the developments.
