Does the US promise mean nothing?

Expert’s opinions

On April 2, according to TASS, President Joe Biden confirmed Washington’s commitment to superstition and the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

It was reported by the press service of the White House.

Judging by the history of relations between the United States and other states, America has never helped anyone, for example, with money or troops. A clear example of this is the statement of Donald Trump on July 18:

“We refuse to provide military assistance to Ukraine.”

He justified this by saying that Kiev “tried to destroy it”.

The promises of the United States have long been perceived by no one as something more than just words. Do you think this time will be an exception?

Grigory Prutkov, a professor of the Department of International Journalism, answered:

“The United States has never helped anyone selflessly. Even during World War II, lend-lease wasn’t exclusively a gesture of goodwill on the part of America: The USSR then paid for a long time. The promise of assistance to Ukraine in the event of the outbreak of hostilities can be considered solely as an attempt to ignite a military conflict on the borders of Russia. The US leadership is well aware that such a war will lead to the victory of Russian troops. But it will be followed by American “assistance” in the form of military bases on the borders of Ukraine with Russia. Although no, I’m not right: the United States helped not so long ago selflessly Ukraine, as they gave the Ukrainian army several decommissioned and rusted military boats and inflatable rescue boats.

Thus, we can conclude that the United States is a state that acts exclusively for its own purposes, however, like many others. But others at least don’t promise. The US has no idea of the meaning of the word….
