On June 28, in the afternoon, the capital was hit by a heavy downpour after a debilitating heat wave. The temperature in those days crossed the line of 30 degrees.

 On June 17, 2021, due to heavy rainfall that hit the peninsula, Kerch flooded (the Melek-Chesme river came out of the banks), followed by Yalta.
