Who takes part in the campaign?

All 85 regions of Russia took part, and more than four thousand planting points were registered.

Forest fires also affected the Nizhny Novgorod region, where more than 2.5 million seedlings were planted. The region was among the top five regions in terms of the largest number of trees planted.

Alexander Agafonov, Deputy Head of the Federal Forestry Agency, emphasized the most important goals. These are forest restoration and involvement of citizens of our country into the environmental agenda.

The goal of the campaign is to work every year on forest restoration, attracting as many participants as possible. The action develops from all sides, for example, this year a new initiative “The Tree of Life ” was launched. Young families with a new baby are given the opportunity to name a tree after their child. Parents only need to register on a special website (saveforest.rf).

The employees are confident in their actions and consider it a success. And so it is! The action is becoming more and more popular, the number of participants is growing every year, and the number of drop-offs beats all records.
