Sergey Nikolayevich Galitsky is a Russian entrepreneur, public figure, president and owner of the Krasnodar Football Club, and founder of the Magnit retail chain. Sergey Galitsky is a well-respected person and an honorary citizen of Krasnodar. According to Forbes, Galitsky’s fortune is estimated at $3.5 billion. The magazine placed him in 40th place in the ranking of the 200 richest businessmen in Russia.
The entrepreneur began to appear at the games less, and rarely was he noticed walking around the park in Krasnodar. There were guesses and theories about his health. Is everything well with Galitsky?
“You’re often not the master of your own destiny, so that’s how it is now. I am, unfortunately, not in the right shape and I miss some games”, – so Galitsky declared his illness. His diagnosis is currently unknown.
Initially, Galitsky did not want to talk about his health problems, but due to respect for the fans, he revealed the reason for his “disappearance”.
Now Galitsky’s main task is to create a new Krasnodar structure, which will include a board of directors, a supervisory board and banks. They will monitor the fulfillment of obligations. Sergey called this structure an endowment – a trust fund intended for use for non-commercial purposes of the organization.
“I think that by March we will have finished all these processes and I will be free from the club in terms of moral obligations. Financing will be 100% going with my money, but without me”, – stated Galitsky.
Now we can only hope for the return of the entrepreneur to the club as president and, of course, for the speedy recovery of Sergei Nikolaevich.
