Joe Biden believes that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not interested in solving problems related to climate, because he did not attend the 26th UN World Climate Conference in Glasgow.
In response, Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: “Let us not forget that forests are burning in California, forests are burning in Turkey and other countries around the world”.
Peskov also added that the Kremlin has a different opinion on this matter and does not agree with Biden’s position, and Vladimir Putin is ready to personally inform the U.S. president about the country’s intentions to change the climate situation.
“Nevertheless, within the framework of the Climate Change Summit in Glasgow there will be a conference on forestry and land management, and the President has already recorded a video message to the participants of this conference”, – said the press-secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.
The conference was attended by more than 100 heads of State and Government from around the world.
